We’re here to support you
The Health Start Program is a FREE neighborhood outreach program that works with pregnant women, new mothers and their families. The goal of the Health Start is to give your child and family the best chance of success through education and referrals to community resources.
Mothers and fathers want more information and support on common child-rearing issues – sleeping, crying, toilet training, discipline and ways to encourage their young children to learn, which is exactly what Healthy Steps provides.
Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run® is a 10-week after school program for girls in 3rd-8th grades. We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
We strive to provide the best and most comprehensive care for babies and their families. Breastfeeding is one of the most important things a mother can do to give her baby the healthiest start in life. However, breastfeeding can often be challenging. At Flagstaff Pediatric Care, we want to offer each mother who wishes to breastfeed the opportunity to receive quality care and support as she works to achieve her breastfeeding goals.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Adjustment Support
Having a baby is usually a happy time in a family’s life. It can also be a stressful time – no matter how much you love your baby or how much you’ve looked forward to the experience. Giving birth puts new mothers through a physical, mental and emotional wringer, which can lead to exhaustion, sleep deprivation and lack of time for themselves.
Prepared Childbirth Classes
Flagstaff Pediatric Care is pleased to present a FREE childbirth preparation
program for expectant mothers and their partners through North Country HealthCare. The few short hours you spend in Childbirth Education will empower you as you move through this new chapter of your life.
